Buses are designed to transport people to their destinations. However, a bus journey is not only about where you are heading; it is also about the experience along the way.
Imagine the entire CUHK as a museum — what will you see? Led by multidisciplinary cultural collaborators, the Secret Bus Tour takes participants on a curated journey of seeing and rediscovery around the campus, and sheds renewed light on the collections of the University’s Art Museum.
Session 1: Scenic Tour Through Camera Lens
Tour Route by Hong Kong Reminiscence
Time: 11:00 – 12:30
Hong Kong Reminiscence (Lam Hiu Man) is known for connecting people with the stories and landmarks that define the city's heritage, and this tour in CUHK will be no exception. HKR will showcase the beauty of the CUHK campus through the lens of a camera.
Session 2: The Urbanist Tour to Strolling and Public Art
Tour Route by academic Sampson Wong
Time: 2:00 – 3:00
Urbanist, writer, academic, and artist Sampson Wong dedicated himself to exploring urban space, culture, and public art, with a particular passion for urban walking, which inspired his innovative 'Strollology' project.
Sampson's tour will explore the lesser-known routes of the campus, highlighting its historic and cultural landmarks while offering his unique insights into urban space and public art.
